Traffic Safety (Driver Improvement) Training
Driver Improvement courses are now being offered "live online" using Zoom. What this means is that you can attend the training from home at the date and time designated in the letter you received in the mail.
IF YOU HAVE NOT REGISTERED NOR PAID FOR THE CLASS WITH THE COUNTY NOR RECEIVED A LETTER IN THE MAIL FROM IVCC CONFIRMING YOUR ATTENDANCE, DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A ZOOM SESSION FOR YOU WILL NOT BE GIVEN ACCESS TO THE ZOOM CLASSROOM.
"Live Online" training is OPTIONAL. If you prefer to attend class in person, report to IVCC at your assigned date and time.
Students who wish to attend "live online" will need: an internet connection, email address, computer, tablet or other device to log-in to class. Whatever device you use, make certain it has sound, and a camera, for the camera will need to be on for the entire duration of the class. In short, you need to be seen.
You will need to register within 24-hours of your class by clicking the link below. After registering, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with the link to join the meeting.
For class you will need the textbook you received in the mail, and have paper and a writing utensil to complete assignments.
If you are a GDL student, you will need to stay on the webinar after class has ended. CLICK HERE for GDL materials.
It is recommended that you log in to Zoom prior to the class to make sure you can access the class and have a connection. If possible, set your screen name as your first and last name. If for any reason you cannot access the class due to technology, inclement weather, etc., you will have to re-register for the class at a later date.
